Known for her outgoing personality, Lisa Parker reveals there is a whole other side to her that she’s kept hidden for decades. She shares how personal ads and notes from the universe contributed to her finally finding joy. Listen to her courageously share the story she's kept to herself for the very first time. It’s a lesson to all of us that we may not know our friends as well as we think we do.
Lisa Parker is the owner of Design Eclectic. She has over 30 years of design experience in communication arts. Her passion is interior design.
She brings lots of different influences into her design esthetic, but the main principles of proportion, texture, relationship, flow, and color are the backbone of what will make your home function and look beautiful while doing so.
She has studied the techniques of Feng Shui, a Chinese practice of creating balance with the natural world in our interior spaces. It is important to acknowledge the energy flow through your home and allow it to exist. Positioning elements inside can help the flow of that energy and its affect on the people inside it.
Lisa wants to help homeowners who don’t know where to begin. She brings a designer’s eye to help them present their home so it appeals to potential buyers – also helping real estate brokers achieve their goal by making the process easier, and quicker.
“Interior design is a personal choice. But when it comes to staging your home for resale, there are few absolutes that truly make a difference in its appeal and ‘sale-ability’. It’s amazing what good furniture placement and few accents can do to make a room feel fresh and inviting. I love figuring it out and seeing the transformation.”
